Well it's almost that time again-
Our very own Grandma Jeannie will be 98 years old on April 18th !
Less than a month away...
I have been observing her and
helping to take care of her for the past few years.
It has been a wonderful and life changing experience for me-
Such a gift to see that "The Human Spirit is Alive and Well."
Grandma can't walk anymore but she still dances.
That's right, dances, right there in her bed!
She'll shake and shimmy her shoulders
and sing to you all at the same time.
She lights up and glows-
I love to see Grandma "Shake, Shimmy and Shimmer."
It's such a beautiful sight.
She also gets around by blowing you a bunch of kisses.
They fly through the air and land in all the right places.
One of the most heart warming things about my Grandmother
is the way she so freely says "I LOVE YOU BABY!"
She says it with all her heart.
And she is forever saying "Thank You"
for everything you do on her behalf.
I honestly believe it's the love and power behind her
I love yous and thank yous
that keep her so alive and well...
Last night I asked her a few "Life Story" questions-
My favorite one was this:
Grandma, what would you like to say to everyone?
She smiled as big as she possible could, took a deep breath and said:
"TELL 'EM I LOVE "EM!"
Love to you from Grandma and Me oxoxoxox
